Fees

Judicial officers charge a fixed fee for the documents they issue and the services they provide

These fees have been fixed by the Royal Decree of 30/11/1976 and are adjusted on an annual basis in line with the index of consumer prices.

Judicial officers are obliged to adhere to the set rates and are not entitled to adjust, divide or reduce them (give discounts).

The cost of the documents they issue must be specified in the margin, i.e. the document must feature an itemised statement of all the ensuing duties and costs.
